Kintla Lake

In the far northwest corner of Glacier National Park in Montana, down miles of bumpy dirt roads, past where the average tourist goes and beyond the off-grid town of Polebridge and several old homesteads, you’ll find the beautiful and remote Kintla Lake.

What will strike you first, beyond the sheer beauty of the location, is the quiet.  No motorcraft are allowed on the lake and the rustic campground is sparsely populated with campers seeking the peace and solitude of nature off the beaten path.

Hiking trails skim the edges of the lake, winding around and back into the mountains.
