Friday morning I slept in a bit then set out with the camera for a couple of hours. It was fairly overcast, but there was some nice light coming through the cloudcover from time to time.
I went to the flea market in Pigeon Forge, then headed North to Virginia. My first tentative plan was to hop on the Blue Ridge Parkway and wander round til I found something that caught my attention or a camp spot I liked. Only, the further north I went, the more dense the cloud cover. Eventually I realized I was only hours from home, so…I went home. 🙂
Today is Mother’s Day, so I was quite content to come home, spend Saturday morning and most of today with my mom.
I’m not sure what my next trip will be, but I suspect it will involve camping in the Catoctin Mountains…
