I’ve been thinking a lot about my favorite places recently and its no surprise that they are all places that would not exist if it weren’t for conservation efforts.
One place that I return to again and again is the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee. When I first started exploring further than my own state, GSMNP was my first big adventure. It was a bucket list location that soon became a year (and sometimes thrice or more yearly) location.
It was in the GSMNP that my photography found its direction and purpose.
